This is 'Pickles Dinosaur Ride' from Heather Valentin's Lacy Sunshine Shop (http://lacysunshine.weebly.com/) and is actually the 'freebie' digistamp supplied to allow entry to the current 'Double Trouble' challenge which ends at 6pm GMT today (yes -I've just realised that it's already Saturday!).
Cut an 8"square card (two pieces of card cut to the same size and 'hinged' on the right) on my Silhouette Cameo, then matted a layer of Kraft Card to frame the decorative paper layers which were all printed from the Crafter's Companion 'Toreads' CD, I inked around the edges of these layers using 'Bark' Versacolour inkpad for definition. The creamy coloured circle and strip were cut from card from my stash. embossed using Fiskars 'Stone' texture plate and then swiped with the 'Bark' inkpad followed by Versacolour Silver to bring out the detail. The little 'bones' were cut on my Cameo and are each about five layers thick as the card was a bit thin, inked on the edges and then covered with 'Glossy Accents' to make them shiny.
I worked with Spectrum Noir Marker Pens to colour the image as follows:-
Dinosaur - TN1/TN2/TN3/TN7/EB8 for the main body; EB1/ EB2/BG3 for the 'ruff' and BG1/BG2/Blender for the horns
Pickles - LY2/CG2/CG3 for his body; GB4/GB6/GB7/TN9 for his 'toga' and BG2/BG3/BG4 for his club.
The eyes for both used DG1/DG2/DG4 and True Black.
So now I have to hide this from Kieran as he'll be here later today and I don't want him seeing it before his birthday but first I'm off to enter it into the Lacy Sunshine Challenge which you can find either here http://lacysunshinechallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/ or by clicking the button at the side of my blog, it's well worth a look as there are some really talented people on there.
Night for now, take care
