As promised....Cards 1

Well, the tree's up and most of our cards delivered but that's about as far as it goes in being prepared for Christmas. Present shopping and final food shop scheduled for tomorrow... fingers crossed!  Then it's just pressies to wrap, cleaning up, preparing veggies for Christmas lunch and with luck we'll be ready in time!

Here's the first of my Christmas cards for this year and as I make 80+, they tend to be made in batches on a similar(ish) theme - it's the only time I do 'repeats' unless for obvious reasons such as making invitations etc.  So here goes with the most simple, all individually hand stamped and heat embossed using some of the new stamps I treated myself to this year from Chloe Endean ( using versamark ink and various (mainly sparkly) embossing powders, the greeting is by Katy Sue Designs (  Thank goodness my trusty Silhouette Cameo cut out all the bauble shapes, then I simply added a sparkly border by way of a chisel tip Zig glue pen and crystal glitter.

Shame the sparkle isn't showing up too well, apart from the glittery border... mind you I'm no expert photographer so it could be down to me and my lack of skills.

Okay then, that's it for today... back tomorrow with the next one!

Holding my hands up... guilty of being a lazy blogger!

So sorry... I've been a very lazy blogger over this past year, however I've still been crafting when time etc allows but not shown what I've been up to (I did send myself to the 'naughty step' - lol!)  As the end of 2015 is now rapidly approaching and Christmas cards are being made, I've been having an 'end of year' clear out both in my craft room and my PC, this resulted in a re-think and making a mental note to myself to try to post at least weekly in 2016!

Once my Christmas cards are completed (on the last batch now) I'll take a few pics... so will be back soon...promise.

I've also updated my blog page in readiness for posting more regularly and hope you like the simpler, less cluttered look.  Come January I'm thinking I may remove some of the older stuff too - for a fresh start - what do you think... good idea or not?

Take care and bye for now x
